PROPERTY OWNER TASK: If you have not already done so, we hope that all Sylvia Lake property owners will be able to make the 911 verification call while at your property this summer. The call must be made from that specific 911 phone. The committee urges everyone with property at Sylvia Lake to make this call. Directions below...

IMPORTANT TASK: Removed the old 4-digit house number and replace with your 911 property number. All residences should be clearly marked with three-inch, reflective numbers.

We ask every property owner to do the following:
Check the 911 property description that appears on the dispatcher screen

HAVE THIS INFORMATION READY WHEN YOU CALL. BE SURE TO MAKE THE CALL FROM YOUR SYLVIA LAKE PROPERTY PHONE. Your 911 address. The main highway that meets your turn off. The exact number of turns prior to entering your driveway, etc. Call from the phone at the location you are checking.

Dial 911 and immediately say, "This is not an emergency - I would like to check the information on your screen for this phone number." In the event they are busy they may ask you to call later.

REMEMBER: The information can not be changed at that moment - it may be necessary to fill out a form. This is a safety issue so please be courteous and work with the dispatcher. We want the information to be clear, exact and uniform.
