We
have been enjoying your website. We have many memories
of times past at Sylvia Lake. I spent my boyhood in Balmat
so our gang was always camping, swimming, fishing, hunting
and skating at the lake. My father built a "camp" which
he sold to Merton Van Sant. Our neighbors on the lake
were Linden and Gladys Oneil, Jay and Min Burns and all the
Burns girls.
I met Sally when she was
visiting her aunt and uncle, Joe and Florence Duchano. A
little incident that day when I was showing off for
her with my boat is another memory, but all of a sudden
we have just celebrated, rather quietly, our 48th anniversary.
We
would enjoy hearing from anyone who might remember us.
Thank you for the website and the beautiful
photographs.

Sally is holding a bottle of Sylvia Lake water
and I have a history
of the lake, number 125,
that was purchased by Florence Duchano. |
